平時なら当然1位に入ったであろう『Skyrim』は、『コール オブ デューティ モダン・ウォーフェア3』『FIFA 12』『バトルフィールド 3』『Gears of War 3』に次いで、2011年で5番目のローンチセールス。同じBethesdaの『Fallout: New Vegas』の2倍以上の初週セールスであり、同メーカー史上最速の売れ行きとなっています。なお、これら大作の同時ローンチにこれまでのリリースラッシュが重なり、先週はUK週間売り上げで史上最大の数字を記録したとのこと。
7位にはDS専用タイトル『Moshi Monsters: Moshling Zoo』がランクイン。予約の好調ぶりは既にお伝えした通りですが、DS専用のサードパーティー作品でTOP10に入る健闘を見せています。今週は15日に『Assassin's Creed Revelations』『Halo: Combat Evolved - Anniversary』、18日に『スーパーマリオ3Dランド』『ゼルダの伝説 スカイウォードソード』『Saints Row: The Third』などなど、さらなる大作リリースラッシュ。『コール オブ デューティ モダン・ウォーフェア3』のトップを脅かすタイトルは現れるのでしょうか。
